In Widget settings, you can customize the design and behavior of the widget.
You can ensure that your notifications are delivered to your website visitors at the right time, with the correct wording and appropriate branding.
These settings can be made separately for each widget.
Let’s go to your Notification Settings
Step 1 – Click on the Pencil icon on the right side of the notification you wish to modify.
Design: You can change the name of the widget, the information to be displayed, the total number of conversions to be displayed, the time elapsed between each display in this field.
Triggers: You can set the widget’s page display rule, trigger rule, session and device display settings from this area.
Display: You can change the time the widget stays on the page, its position on the screen and the closing option from this area.
Customize & Branding: You can change the general design and color settings of the widget, as well as the entrance and exit animations from this area.
Webhook & Auto Capture: Some widgets have the option of connecting a data source from another platform to show Social Proofy notifications with said data.
Design Settings
Design Settings vary from widget to widget as they have different characteristics that can be changed. For this example, we will use the Design Setting tab for the Recent Sales Pop.
Conversion Title: In this area you can change the title for the widget. You can use dynamic variables from your captured Data to customize your message. For example, if you have a field named “full_name”, you can use it as {full_name}.
Conversion Description: As the Conversion Title, you can use dynamic variables for this area as well.
Image URL: You can insert a URL containing an image to display it in the widget. You can also use dynamic variables for this area too, such as {image}. (this depends on how you imported the data)
Notification URL: You can insert the URL you want your user to go after clicking on the notification. You can also Toggle On if you want the URL to open on a new tab.
# of conversions to show: This is specific to the Recent Sales Pop, you can select how many conversions show while your user stays on the same page.
In between delay: How much time passes between one notification and the next one.
Random: More than one conversion is usually available for display in Recent Sales Pop and Random Review widgets. You can display these conversions randomly on your website instead of in their default order.
Time: f you activate this feature, which is valid in Recent Sales Pop, you can show your visitors how long ago the displayed conversion took place.
Trigger Settings
Triggers: By specifying a display rule, you can make the widget appear on all pages or certain pages.
Display Trigger: You can change the delay, exit intent, or scroll percentage settings using this setting.
Display Frequency: You can set how many times the widget will be displayed for your visitors in session or browser-specific.
Device: You can make the widget appear only on mobile or desktop devices.
Display Settings
Display Duration: This setting determines how long the widget stays on the screen. If you set it to -1, the widget will stay on the screen indefinetely.
Display Position: This setting determines where the widget appears on the screen. You can show the widget in 9 different places on the screen.
Display Close Button: This setting allows you to remove the close button on the widget.
Display Branding: You can turn this setting off to remove the “verified by Social Proofy” text on the widget. Branding can be turned off on all plans except the Lite plan.
Customize Settings
You can edit the widget to match your own brand’s design using the Customize settings.
Color: You can modify the color for various parts of the widget such as Title, Description, Background and Border.
Background Pattern: You can select between 9 different patterns for your background such as Anchors, Bubbles, etc.
Border Radius: You can change the shape of the corners of the notification with this setting.
Border Width: You can modify the width of the border with this setting.
Display Shadow: You can use this setting to remove the shadow on the background of the widget.
Animations: You can change the widget’s entry and exit animations from this area.
Webhook and Auto Capture Settings
Webhook Trigger: Copy the URL inside the box and paste in the corresponding webhook area from the platform you wish to capture data.
Auto Capture Data: Write down the URL where you wish to recollect data. Note: Password fields will never be captured.
